3.2.11 Progress of the Digital Transformation Program

The Digital Transformation Program of PAOPublic Joint-Stock Company Rosseti Ural stipulates goals and objectives of digital transformation and projects and activities related to digital transformation till 2030. The Program is prepared pursuant to the Rosseti Group’s Digital Transformation Strategy till 2030, being a part of it. The grid complex of the Perm, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions has a huge potential for development through implementation of cutting-edge technical solutions. Digital transformation will enable to enhance reliability, quality and accessibility of services related to electricity transmission and connection as well as form a new infrastructure for the most effective electricity transmission between electric power industry entities and develop competitive markets for related services.

To achieve the goals, digital transformation aims at solving the following strategic goals:

  1. Creation of mechanisms of data accumulation and management (change of attitude to data, shaping data processing architecture, ensuring real-time data processing, decision-taking on data analysis and forecast).
  2. Creation of new prospective digital products and services, incl. prospective for implementation on outside markets.
  3. Provision of optimization and changes in technological and business processes of the Company.
  4. Development of human resources with promising competencies to meet the challenges of digital transformation and master digital professions, enhancement of corporate digital culture.
  5. Creation of a unified environment based on Russian-made platforms that meet technical requirements regarding performance, fault tolerance and security, exploration of a possibility to form a cutting-edge IT infrastructure based on the preferential use of Russian-made software and radio electronics.
  6. Improvement of internal control system for digital transformation.
  7. Provision of information security in the course of digital transformation.
